For the Good of the Game Awards

In 2004 the FCWT began selecting a player or players who represent the game of golf well under a variety of circumstances and presented them with the “For the good of the game award”.  Each year several players on the FCWT are nominated for this award, because many of you are this type of player.

The young people chosen for this award have consistently showed demeanor that has been fitting of a Champion.  This year’s recipients have played the FCWT long enough to see good days and bad days. One is a 4th year FCWT player, the other a 5th year player. One has played in 18 junior golf tournaments, the other in 30.

It gives the FCWT great pleasure to announce this year’s recipients of the FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME award: from Bradenton, FL, Daniela Lendl and from Winnetka, IL, Wilson Bowen.
