FCWT Junior Golfer Michael Anthony, hole-in-one at FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Notre Dame 2016
Junior Golfer Michael Anthony realized that dream. Michael made an ace during the final round of the FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Notre Dame 2016. Anthony who is from South Bend is a junior (2018). He said: “It was so exciting to make my first hole in one in such a great tournament. Thanks to FCWT and Notre Dame for putting on an awesome event and making this possible.”
FCWT Junior Golfer Tommy Morrison, winner Boys 12-14 division FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Notre Dame 2016
Junior Golfer Tommy Morrison won the Boys 12-14 Division of the FCWT Junior Golf Tournament at Notre Dame. After receiving his FCWT personalized plaque, Morrison sent the FCWT a video and a brief note. “Thank you FCWT, The Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame, my Parents, my coach Bernie Najar and the fierce competitors who played in this tournament. The course was in excellent condition and the ND team that works at the course very supportive. It’s an honor to be part of the FCWT spotlight and I look forward to working hard at my golf game to keep going lower. My goal is to play D1 in college and get good enough to play on the PGA Tour. My motto is to work hard, play hard, pray hard and be a good guy.” Tommy is a member of the Class of 2023.
FCWT Junior Golfer Will Doctor, Low Round and Runner-Up at FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Disney 2016
Senior Will Doctor who is from Houston, Texas, recently signed with the University of Dallas. Just a couple of weeks prior to signing his NLI Will finished second at the FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Disney 2016. Will earned Low Round honors for his one-under-par 71. Will said: “It was a great final round. I came out pretty hot, I was -3 thru 11. I made two bogeys on the back. Then I had a 35 foot par putt on 18, and I knew I had to make it in order for me to have a chance of winning, or even placing.” Will did make the putt “and it ended up putting me in a tie for second. It was a great experience, especially on 18. I know these types of experience will help me down the road as I get to bigger and bigger stages.”
