The weather continued to wreak havoc on the California coast. One winter storm after another continues to roll off the Pacific Ocean. The wind also continued to play a factor in the Final Round of the FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Sandpiper 2019.

Senior Will Reinhardt of Menlo Park, CA captured his first FCWT tournament win on Sunday at Sandpiper Golf Club. Meinhardt, who is playing in his second season with the FCWT, finished T16 at this tournament last season. His best finish last season was at Bayonet where he finished T11. This season, he earned his first Top 3 at Bayonet in January where he finished T3. Then on Sunday he earned his first title here at Sandpiper.

Will fired an opening round of 69 on Saturday. He started the Final Round of the FCWT Junior Golf Tournament Sandpiper 2019 with a 4 shot advantage.

His Sunday score of 74 gave him a 9 shot win over three junior golfers who shared 2nd place.
